Registration is required before you can bid on any auction. Click on the “Register” button at the top to register. We will direct you to our registration page. To ensure that each bidder is a valid and qualified bidder, you must register with a valid credit card. Although we would prefer to allow registration without a credit card, it really is our only electronic means of protecting our buyers and sellers from fraudulent bidding by malicious individuals. As soon as we have you registered, you will receive your bidding number via e-mail and your account will be activated to bid.
Select the auction you would like to view. When the bidding for the auction is open you will have the opportunity to enter Your Bid or your Maximum Bid for each item. Enter your bidding number and password at the bottom of the screen to submit the bid(s).
Yes. Each auction will have information regarding where the items are located and a scheduled preview time. If there is a specified preview time, you may preview auction items only during this time, no exceptions
This is our most frequently asked question. It is fairly simple to answer, but does require some explanation. The Maximum Bid feature is a tool for the buyer. It allows the buyer to enter an amount, above and beyond their initial bid, that represents the highest dollar amount they are willing to pay for an item. If at any point during the auction they are outbid on an item, the system will automatically increase their bid by the appropriate Bidding Increment ($1, $5, $10, etc.) as needed, up to the Maximum Bid amount. This allows the buyer to place a bid and a maximum and walk away from the process knowing the system will automatically purchase that item at the lowest price possible, never exceeding the Maximum Bid. For example, let’s assume that you enter a bid of $100 and a Maximum bid of $400. If no other bids are placed, you will be the winner at your $100 bid. If another bidder places a bid of $200, you will now be winning at $200 plus 1 increment level (for example: $200 + $10 = $210). The system will continue to monitor and bid on your behalf until the auction concludes or your Maximum Bid has been exceeded. No other bidder will be able to see what your maximum bid is.
A bid increment is the minimum amount required to raise the bid. For example, if the current bid on an item is $100, you must bid at least $105 to raise the bid. Bid increments vary by item and Auction.
If an item receives a bid in the last three minutes, the ending time for that item will automatically be extended by three minutes. Once three minutes have passed without any bidding, the item will close.
Unless stated otherwise in a specific auction’s terms, all cards on file will be charged for winning bids on that auction. Any purchases not paid for in full by end of specified removal will be charged to the credit card on file for your bidder number, or resold at the discretion of Owner/Seller or Number One Auctions. The removal/pickup day is always listed on the Terms & Details page of each individual Auction.
All items must be paid for and removed on the removal/pickup day. If you have a scheduling conflict and cannot be there to pickup we can help accommodate you. You can arrange shipping to your location as well. All invoices must be paid before items are moved and additional fees may apply depending on how many items you purchase and where they are being transported to.
By bidding on an item you are creating a contract that is enforceable in a court of law. Number One Auctions will pursue all legal remedies required to enforce this contract. The terms of usage prevent retraction of a bid once it has been made. If you are unsure about an item, DO NOT BID; no bids will be retracted
Most states require us to collect sales tax for all applicable sales. If you believe you are entitled to an exemption from sales tax, please complete the appropriate form and contact our office prior to bidding. You can email us your tax exempt form to: numberoneauctionsflorida@gmail.com
You will see the winners of each item at the close of the auction by looking at the Bidder #’s next to the final price. If you did win any items you will receive an invoice by e-mail shortly after the last item in the auction closes – usually within 10-15 minutes. These emails are auto-generated by our server which means from time to time they might end up in your email program’s “spam box”. If you have not received an invoice 1 hour after the final item in the auction is complete, please text or call us at 407-436-7626.
Credit Cards must be on file and updated, they will be charged on winning lots at the end of the auction. Please remember, by supplying your credit card and by using your credit card you understand all sales are final.
The credit card on file will be charged at the end of the auction for items you have won. You can look at invoice online and it will also be emailed to you. This information will be in the “terms & details” of each auction. All invoices must be paid for before a shipping company is scheduled or allowed to remove any items. Number One Auctions is not responsible for damages during shipping.
